With a Master’s degree in Textile Design and years of experience as a textile and materials consultant, I developed a deep appreciation for exceptional materials. My fascination with shagreen began during travels through Asia, where I studied its origins, traditional tanning techniques, and what distinguishes exceptional skins. Thailand ultimately became my chosen source for its quality tanning and sustainable material sourcing.
VIVO Studios was born from that pursuit — creating small-batch pieces from genuine, expertly tanned shagreen and other natural materials chosen for their quality, character, and lasting beauty.
